The Champ Car World Series, established in 1979 is a North American based, professional open-wheel racing series.

Some of it's former champions include Mario Andretti, A.J. Foyt, Rick Mears, Emerson Fitipaldi, Michael Andretti, Danny Sullivan, Bobby Rahal, Paul Tracy, Sebastian Bourdais to name a few.

As part of it's annual schedule, the series competes in multiple countries including the USA, China, Europe, Canada, Australia and Mexico at some of the most high profile race tracks in the world.
